Courtney Hopkinson

Senior Illustrator & Lead 3D Artist

Meet Courtney Hopkinson – an experienced, talented and highly proficient 3D storyteller.

Courtney grew up in Lord of the Rings territory, Matamata, in rural New Zealand. He describes his childhood home as one of rolling, grassy hills and grazing cows – the perfect place to grow up in the 80’s.

Today, based in Melbourne with his much loved Boston Terrier, it is unsurprising that he brings a robust playfulness to his work and an ambition that aims to “knock every job out of the park”. Courtney is a keen Muay Thai kick-boxer and confesses that a passion for chocolate and ice-cream can only be matched by client briefs to illustrate them both. He humbly holds up a handful of awards too, proving hard work eventually pays off, especially when you have the attitude to match.
